Armand Rousseau

A great benchmark producer in Gevrey Chambertin, with around 14 hectares of vineyards producing very fine village, Premier and Grand Cru wines at all levels. There are no fewer than six Grand Crus including the monopole Ruchottes-Chambertin Clos des Ruchottes as well as Chambertin, Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze, Mazy Chambertin, Charmes Chambertin and Clos de la Roche. Over half the holdings are Grand Crus. These wines display a rich and sumptuous concentration as well as finesse and elegance that other Burgundies rarely attain.
