SELL FINE WINE
Here at L’Assemblage we source our wines from Chateaux, growers, trade agents and from reliable private cellars.
If you are a private stock holder we will offer the most competitive prices for your surplus wines based on current market and auction hammer prices. There are three options should you wish to sell. Please contact us and we will gladly assist.
Cash Sale
- We pay by cheque or bank transfer on receipt of your wines.
- There is no minimum value.
- All fine wines are considered although our main interests are grand cru Bordeaux and Burgundy.
- Collection and repacking can be arranged on request.
- Digital photos are preferred for initial valuations.
Brokerage
- There are often situations where we would like to sell your stock on a commission basis to secure the best possible selling prices for specific wines. This is normally 10% of the agreed sell price with 90% being passed on to you the vendor.
- We can arrange a free competitive valuation, collection and storage service whilst your stock is consigned to us and also notify you of any sales on a regular basis.
- For this service we will pay you within 30 days from the sell date, or on sale completion if sooner.
Exchange
- In some instances vendors may simply wish to exchange their wines for other vintages or more suitable wines.
- We would be happy to advise and recommend alternatives to match your requirements.
