Gevrey Chambertin |
| Claude Dugat |
| 2003 |
| (12 x 75 cl) |
| The 2003 Gevrey-Chambertin offers a nose of candied black cherries. A backward, firmly-structured wine, it reveals a concentrated core of sappy blackberries and dark cherries. Medium to full-bodied. Drink it over the next 6-7 years. Drink from 2009 RP 88/100. Bettter than most other growers 1ers crus in this vintage. GW 92/100 |

Rully 1er Rabource |
| Jaeger-Defaix, Domaine |
| 2006 |
| (12 x 75 cl) |
| '..moderately wooded nose displays notes of citrus, pear as well as ripe green fruit and subtle menthol aromas that can also be found on the bigger and richer flavors that culminate in a very dry and more structured finish. This is quite ripe with a focused, punch and bone dry finish. Excellent potential here as there is a lot of dry extract which will allow the wine to age over the medium term. Terrific. AM 90/2010+' |

Classic Cuvée |
| Nyetimber (Sparkling wine) |
| 2005 |
| (6 x 75 cl) |
|
The 2003 was recently voted best bubbly in the world beating Bollinger and Louis Roederer to the top spot. Now in its second year, the competition Bollicine del Mondo attracts sparkling wines from around the world. The wines are tasted blind by a panel of judges including famous winemakers.
The 2005 is made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes like the 2003, but has more backbone and in our opinion it is better balanced and will last for 10-15 years. It has good classic structure, zesty citrus flavours and racy acidity on a long harmonious finish. One of their best yet and has just won Gold at the international wine challenge 2010. |

Chateauneuf 'Cuvee de Capo' |
| Domaine de Pegau |
| 2007 |
| (6 x 75 cl) |
| The 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée da Capo (the first made since 2003) is a whopper! Slightly less potent alcohol-wise than the 1998 or 2003, Laurence Feraud compares it to the 2000. With just under 16% natural alcohol, it exhibits a dense purple color along with a big, sweet kiss of charcoal, grilled steaks, beef blood, plums, blackberries, smoked herbs, kirsch, and black currants, fabulous concentration, enormous body, and a finish that lasts over a minute. There is a freshness and vibrancy because of the vintage’s crisp acid levels, and the wine should age well for 30+ years. It reminded me more of the 1998 at a similar stage than the 2000, but that’s splitting hairs given the quality level of this offering. Normally there are 500-600 cases produced, most of it being available through the grey market rather than through any authorized importers. Laurence told me the Capo will be bottled in February, 2010. Drink 2014-2035. WA 98-100' (Issue number 185, Oct 2009) |

Chateauneuf du Pape |
| Domaine de Marcoux |
| 2007 |
| (12 x 75 cl) |
| The outstanding 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape (a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, 7% Syrah, and 3% Cinsault that achieved 16.5% natural alcohol) exhibits a dark ruby/purple color in addition to a sumptuous bouquet of black fruits, scorched earth, lavender, truffles, and licorice. The wine reveals the vintage’s gorgeous freshness and vibrancy as well as sensational concentration, and a tremendous finish. It can be drunk young or cellared for 15+ years. RP 94/100 |

Kallista |

| 2004 |
| (12 x 75 cl) |
|
'The flagship wine of this estate where former springbok legend Jan Boland Coetzee is the winemaker. A bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. An elegant bouquet of blackberry, tabacco leaf, capsicum and cedar. This is a medium to full bodied serious red with black fruit and a meaty, earthy mid palate. Ripe smooth tannins contribute to the long dry finish. ' GW 92 . ****(*) In John Platter's guide |

Talana Hilll |
| Vriesenhof |
| 2005 |
| (12 x 75 cl) |
| 'Talana Hill is a fresh elegant Chardonnay with subtle aromas of vanilla, melon and dried fruit that expand through on to the mid palate. This is more in the burgundian style with fermentation and maturation for 8 months in Allier and Troncais oak barrels. The subtle oak has intergrated well with the fruit resulting in a rounded, long dry finish. Expressive and delicious.' GW 90 |
