Ch Léoville Poyferre |
| 2ème Cru |
| 2002 |
| (12 x 75 cl) |
| One of the stars of the vintage, this 2002 reveals a saturated to the rim purple color as well as a big, sweet, provocative nose of earth, licorice, creme de cassis, and toasty new oak. It possesses medium to full body, great purity, tangy underlying acidity, and an impressively long, 40-second finish. This top-flight St.-Julien should hit its prime in 5-8 years, and last for over two decades. Bravo! 92-94 RP |

Ch Bellefont-Belcier |
| Grand Cru Classé |
| 2005 |
| (6 x 75 cl) |
| ‘Dominique Hebrard, the son of Cheval Blanc’s former general manager, Jacques Hebrard, runs this property, and his impressive 2005 is the finest wine I have yet tasted from Bellefont-Belcier. It boasts a dense purple color along with a sumptuous nose of black cherry liqueur, smoke, licorice, crushed rocks, and flowers. Full-bodied with powerful flavors, sensational concentration, high tannin, and an attractive liqueur of mineral character, it will be drinkable in 5-6 years, and should last for three decades.’ Robert Parker 92-94 points |

Rully 1er Rabource |
| Jaeger-Defaix, Domaine |
| 2006 |
| (12 x 75 cl) |
| '..moderately wooded nose displays notes of citrus, pear as well as ripe green fruit and subtle menthol aromas that can also be found on the bigger and richer flavors that culminate in a very dry and more structured finish. This is quite ripe with a focused, punch and bone dry finish. Excellent potential here as there is a lot of dry extract which will allow the wine to age over the medium term. Terrific. AM 90/2010+' |

Good full ruby. Roasted black raspberry, blackberry, spicecake, licorice, minerals and nutty oak on the nose. Denser than the 2003 and a step up in intensity but nicely light on its feet. There's lovely sweetness to the black fruit and licorice flavors. Finishes with big but sweet tannins and a lingering minerality. 91+ Tanzer |

Almaviva |
| Rothschild & Cocha Y Toro |
| 2005 |
| (6 x 75 cl) |
| The 2005 Almaviva is dark ruby-colored with a classy nose of smoke, violets, mineral, pencil lead, espresso, black currants, and blackberry. This is followed by a supple-textured wine with layers of sweet fruit, excellent depth and concentration, and well integrated oak, tannin, and acidity. There is enough structure to support 5-7 years of further evolution in the bottle and it should continue to drink well through 2037. Almaviva is a partnership of Bordeaux first-growth Chateau Mouton-Rothschild and Concha y Toro. Made in the style of top of the line Pauillac, the blend is typically 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22-23% Carmenere (a very close relative of Merlot), and 4-5% Cabernet Franc. It spends 18 months in new French oak and is bottled unfined and unfiltered. 2007-2037’ 94/100 WA |

| (12 x 75 cl) |
| One of the high lights of the vintage. Packed with the essence of blackberries, chocolate, tar, smoke, cassis and menthol, this layered beauty exhibits great length and a persistent, warmly alcoholic finish. It has been stunning on the three occassions I have had it ..' 96/100 WA |

| (6 x 75 cl) |
| Voted one of the top 5 SA pinotages in this vintage. Full meaty style with intergrated tannins from oak ageing and plump sweet mature fruit. Long finish. Great value and well suited to roasted meats and barbequed food. |

Late-harvest white with dried apricot, fig and spice. Full-bodied and very sweet, yet has crisp, lemony acidity. Spicy, minerally, smoky finish. Great with desserts & foie gras. Halves available aswell. |
