Guillaume d’Angerville aided by cellar-master François Duvivier has made many changes since taking over the Domaine upon the death of his father in 2003. The vines have been cultivated bio-dynamically since 2006 and yields are generally lower. In the cellar the large horizontal, rotating vat used for Champans has been replaced with a series of smaller vessels allowing greater precision in the vinification. Ageing continues to be in principally older barrels with only 20% renewed each year. This allows the fruit to shine through and for each individual cru to show its unique characteristic clearly.
