Château Canon Chaigneau 2019
OCC
"The 2019 Canon Chaigneau has more fruit on the nose compared to the Cuve 8A, though that is partly because it is less reduced. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and fleshier than the Cuve 8A, quite substantial yet focused, with a judicious touch of white pepper on the aftertaste. Excellent." Neal Martin
"The 2019 Canon Chaigneau is showing very nicely from bottle, offering up pretty aromas of cherries, blackcurrants and plums, followed by a medium to full-bodied, velvety and fleshy palate with a ripe core of fruit, powdery tannins and succulent acids. Like its 2018 predecessor, this is quite a dense, rich wine—in fact, it's a bit more structured—but its flavors are more vibrant and its overall balance more compelling." William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
