Weingut Donnhoff's Thrilling 2019s
Although there were 10-15% lower yields than average, the resulting wines have ‘ a ripe yet energetic acidity that gives them a special kick’, says Helmut Dönnhoff. The grapes were pressed as whole to keep the fruit clear and elegant. There is an intensity of fruit and racy acidity in these 2019s, with moderate alcohol, depth and concentration to age for decades. We particularly recommend the grand crus and Prädikate from Hermannshöhle and the Dellchen. This is a great vintage for German riesling and especially so for Dönnhoff.
